International Yoga Day


The ancient practice of yoga offers a multitude of benefits to modern-day students at almost every grade level. Yoga's combination of breath and movement can help alleviate social and academic stress, clear the mind and soothe cramped bodies jammed into desks and hunched over computers. Yoga is making its way into schools with plenty of potentially positive outcomes.

We at Lourdes also want our students to benefit from the practice of yoga and therefore we make our students do yoga every morning before prayers so that they may have a peaceful, stress free day.

On 21st June we celebrated International Yoga Day to create awareness of the importance of Yoga in a students' life.
