Welcome to Prem Niketan! Life in Prem Niketan is challenging, fast-paced, and fun. Our educational programmes are designed to help students develop the skills, understanding, and attitudes that will support their success in school and in life. As we move through the processes of inquiry, discussion, decision-making and reflection, students develop an understanding of themselves, of other people and of our world.

These talents and dispositions are fostered in a secure, supportive, multicultural environment characterized by honesty, respect and caring. By putting students at the center of their own learning, it is our hope that they develop the courage, optimism and resilience to dream big and persist in the face of obstacles.

Learning in Prem Niketan is not only preparing for life, it is life. The 21st century will require independent thinkers, responsible citizens, creative problem-solvers and confident decision-makers. By providing our students with strong foundation in these skills, they will be able to move onto other school environments, next level education and the wider world with confidence and optimism.

Our rigorous academic programme is rooted in a curriculum and programme that stresses an inquiry-based philosophy and the understanding of concepts central to learning. The syllabus is enhanced by direct instruction in reading, writing, math and science. Our facilities create a learning environment that facilitates collaboration, the sharing of ideas and creative conflict resolution where students can reach their potential intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

Parents, teachers and students are partners in learning. Our students are encouraged to take risks and do their best with the expectation that parents will take an active role in guiding and supporting their children's learning.
