Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ who, according to Christianity, is the son of God. It is a celebration of joy and togetherness. The name is a joining of “Christ” and “mass” which means the holy mass-a celebration of festival of Christ.
So on the 23rd of December, 2023 school organized a programme to celebrated Christmas. The special assembly with prayer service and intentions was conducted in the belief that the goodness, joy and the spirit of Christmas continues to reside in the hearts of every one present there.
In keeping with the Christmas spirit, student performed a skit – Story of Christmas portraying the birth of Jesus Christ on this earth followed by dances and Christmas carols. There was a joyful visit of Santa Clause. The Santa made a dashing entry in a car, catching the students by surprise, and stuffing up Santa’s bag and cap with chocolates. Santa also delivered a beautiful message to the children.
At the end of the cultural programme, our principal Rev.Sr.Bindhu with a motivational speech wished each and every student and staff present there a "Merry Christmas". A small token of Love and memory as a gift of Christmas was also distributed to all the students.
