On the fine, sunny morning of October 6th, 2016, deserving young talents of the School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.
The school held the Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the new “Prefectorial Body ”is formed every year.
The event began at 7. 30 a.m.The dignitaries comprising of the Chief Guest Mrs. Saloni Shah, Principal Sister Bindhu, Manager Sister Bertha and Primary in charge Sister Edwina were escorted to the stage by the outgoing Prefectorial Body and the incoming leaders. The school choir sang a hymn praising the Lord. The Principal in her speech encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity.
The Principal Sister Bindhu gave the sash, the Chief Guest handed over the flag, while the Primary In charge Sister Edwina pinned the badge to the Prefects. The new students council were made to take an oath by the Prinicipal.
In her address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students. She also congratulated the newly appointed Prefects. She said “Pray not for a lighter load but strong shoulders”.
The newly inducted head girl gave an acceptance speech, while the outgoing head girl gave a thank you speech. The yellow house head prefect Priyanshi Savani proposed the Vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Anthem.
