With a view to instilling patriotic values in the young Lourdians, The school conducted a patriotic song singing competition on 5th Aug 2016 for students of std 5th to 8th. The students of Lourdes have been segregated into four Houses named after eminent national and international personnel- Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela. A House wise competition conducted witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the young delights. The lilting patriotic melodies with the cadence of motivation extolled the magnanimity of our dearest motherland and the supreme sacrifice of the freedom fighters who paved the way for the glory of our freedom.
The proud winners of the competition were 1st Position : Green House (Swami Vivekananda) and 2nd Position : Red House (Nelson Mandela).
