The academic year 2026-27 dawned anew on 8th June, and we at Lourdes Convent welcomed it with hopeful hearts, embracing our theme for the year - "Embrace Peace and Enrich Ecology." It is a theme that strikes a chord in every heart, young and old alike, for it reminds us that responsibility knows no age bar. And what better place than a school to sow the seeds of peace? In a world that is broken and bleeding, crying out for healing, we are convinced that it is peace, not weapons, that will mend it; it is dialogue, not division, that will heal it. If peace is the heartbeat of humanity, sustainability is its breath. The hour of need for our common home is now. The clarion call of our times is for green innovation, conservation, and compassionate coexistence. We cannot afford to sit on the fence any longer. The time to act is now. We believe that students are at the very heart of the school - the apple of our eye. If we can transform their minds, they will transform the world. The classroom, therefore, is not merely four walls; it is a cradle of change, where the pressing needs of humanity must be addressed, discussed, and acted upon.
